St. Christopher’s Parish continued its yearlong celebration of the church’s 100th year with a gala at the Coral House last weekend.
Clergy members, parishioners and politicians attended the event that featured dinner, dancing and speeches.
The parish was established in 1915 and has remained a central part of the Baldwin community ever since. To celebrate its momentous anniversary, St. Christopher’s kicked off a yearlong celebration last July. Since then there have been special events, and former priests and pastors have been invited back to lead services. The celebration will culminate this July.
