A Black and Blue competition

St. Christopher School routinely hosts events for students to participate in and have some fun after school. But last week, parents got in on the fun during Black and Blue Night in the school’s gymnasium.

About 50 parents squared off against each other in a friendly competition that featured events like dodgeball and team races.

The school has hosted the event in years past, but it wasn’t held the last two years. Principal Anne Lederer said the school decided to bring it back to give parents a chance to get to know each other and to have some fun in the process.

In a bit of a role reversal, children cheered their parents on during the competition and all celebrated with some refreshments when it was over.
