A Laurelton man was arrested for his involvement regarding multiple larcenies that occurred between November 2014 and February 2015, including one in Baldwin, police said.

Christopher Moise, 27, was arrested in connection with a pattern of larcenies that occurred throughout Nassau County involving tires and rims from “high end” Mercedes Benz vehicles while they were parked during the overnight hours. Of the 26 reported cases, police said Moise was identified as being involved with three incidents at this time.

On Jan. 2, tires and rims were removed from a 2015 Mercedes Benz on Hampton Boulevard in Massapequa. The same crime was committed on Jan. 4 involving a 2014 Mercedes Benz on Grand Avenue in Bellmore. On Jan. 31 tires and rims were removed from a 2015 Mercedes Benz on Edna Court in Baldwin.

The investigation into the remaining larcenies continues and detectives request anyone with information that may be related, to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
