More than 500 kids signed up for the Baldwin Public Library’s Summer Reading Club to keep their skills sharp while school is out. The first- through sixth- grade students who completed their club requirements attended a musical program on Aug. 19 at Baldwin Middle School to celebrate their accomplishments.

Although school has been out for the summer, many children in Baldwin didn’t take a break in reading. In fact, more than 500 students entering grades one through six, signed up for the Summer Reading Club at Baldwin Public Library.
As a way to celebrate their summer accomplishments, the BPL hosted a musical program on Aug. 19 at Baldwin Middle School for students who completed their Summer Reading Club requirements.
