The day after the debate, remarkably, he did an about-face, although it’s difficult to know which face we faced. He said on “Hannity,” referring to the 47-percent remarks, “They were completely wrong.” How did he get from actually making the remarks to saying they were “inelegantly stated” last week to saying they were “wrong”? I don’t buy it. He meant every word he said at that fundraiser. And he can’t un-say them now.

What do you think? Will voters believe and trust the Mitt Romney who made the revealing 47-percent comments in a private, unguarded meeting with like-minded Republicans, or the politically expedient Mitt Romney who now says the comments were “completely wrong”?
