Library turns into petting zoo

Residents typically head to Baldwin Public Library to check out a variety of books that capture their imaginations. But for about 25 kids last week, they got to check out more than just books.

Folks from Green Meadows Farm came to Baldwin on April 7 and hosted an in-house petting zoo. Kids were able to look at learn about different types of animals, like rabbits, hedgehogs, geckos, birds and more. They had the chance to pet and hold some of the animals while the staff from the farm taught them about the creatures.
