Man robbed at gunpoint in Baldwin

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Baldwin on Monday, Aug. 22, at 1 a.m.

According to detectives, two male subjects, armed with a handgun, approached a male victim, 38, while on Jackie Lane. The suspects demanded money and pushed the victim to the ground and went through his pockets. The subjects took the victim’s wallet, cell phone, prescription medicine and cash. The suspects then fled on foot eastbound on Jackie Lane. No injuries were reported.

The suspects are described as black, between the ages of 17 and 25. They are between five foot five inches and five foot seven inches tall, wearing dark tee shirts and dark colored jeans.
