Matthew Calvo, who serves with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2-108th Infantry, received the promotion, the Guard said in a news release.
Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability and development potential.
Calvo, 28, has served with the Guard since September 2008, a spokesman said.
