Phony prescription leads to woman’s arrest

A Baldwin woman was arrested after presenting a forged New York State prescription at Levins Pharmacy on Long Beach Road in Oceanside.

According to detectives, Kristin Ubaghs, 31, walked into the pharmacy on June 29 at 4:11 p.m. An investigation led to the arrest of Ubaghs at her home.

Ubaghs was charged with second-degree possession of a forged instrument and was arraigned on June 30 in First District Court in Hempstead.
