Police seek to I.D. supermarket thief

Crime Stoppers and the Nassau police are asking for help in identifying a man who is suspected of stealing $200 worth of items from a Baldwin supermarket last April.

On April 10 at about 8 p.m. a man entered Fairview shopping center’s Fruit Tree Farms store at 1197 Grand Ave. While inside, the man picked up $200 worth of merchandise and left without paying.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information in the case. Those with information should call 1-800-244-TIPS; callers may remain anonymous.
