Two men were held up at gunpoint early Sunday in Baldwin and robbed of their wallets and cellphones, but were uninjured, police said.

First Squad detectives said the men were standing at 1 a.m. in front of a home on Edward Court when a black man in his mid-20s, armed with a handgun, approached them. The gunman, described as 6 feet tall with a medium build and wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, confronted the victims and removed their wallets and phones from their pockets.

Police said the gunman fled to a waiting white sedan that then drove west on Stanton Avenue. Detectives say that anyone with information on the incident should call Nassau Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
