Bellmore Jewish Center plans trip to Israel

The Bellmore Jewish Center will host an “Israel Adventure with Rabbi Dahlia Bernstein” from Feb. 11 to 21, with an optional trip extension from Feb. 20 to 24 to visit Eilat and Petra.

The tour will include Jerusalem, Cesarea, Lake Kinneret and the Gaililee, Golan Heights, Masada, the Dead Sea, Tel Aviv and the Mediterranean coast. The trip is intended to deepen “an appreciation of the connections of our Jewish roots and biblical history,” according to Bernstein.

El Al flights from New York to Israel and back are planned. The land and air package is $3,995 (land only, $2,995), including double-room, per-person occupancy. Tips for guides, drivers, porters and wait staff are $165.
