Merrick-Bellmore prepares for 5K Robbie's Run
(Page 2 of 2)
Donovan Berthoud/Herald
James Turco, Jonathan Intravia, Cooper Slavin, Gabe Eckstein, Andrew Greenberg and Jordan Kappel came together for the cause.

The main event, a 5K run, will kick off at 9:15 a.m. at Lindenmere Drive and Merrick Road, before heading south on Lindenmere and turning right on Shore Drive. Runners will follow Shore Drive down to Clubhouse Road and proceed north from there. They will then make a right on North Gate and turn left on Covered Bridge Road. The route will continue on Clubhouse again, when runners will turn right back onto the street. From there, they will make a right on Bernard Street, turn left on Beach Drive and make a right at Merrick Road. The 5K will finish at the Lakeside School.

Runners may also participate in a one-mile “mini-run.” The race will begin at 8:50 a.m. at the corner of Lindenmere Drive. Participants will make a right turn on Shore Drive and another right on George Court. From there, they will make right turns on Rosebud Avenue and Charles Street, finishing at the gate at the back of the Lakeside School. Streets along both routes will be closed during the runs.

Residents interested in participating in any event on April 28 can find registration forms on robbielevinefoundation.org. They may also register for the run at Lakeside on April 27 from noon to 2 p.m., or on the morning of the event.
