C & L Plumbing Supply Inc. has recently undergone major changes. Expanding and improving as they see fit, the company has moved to a larger Lynbrook location. Its newly renovated 3,000-square-foot facility houses a spectacular kitchen and bath showroom, and another area with a separate entrance for the heating and plumbing supplies.

Since C & L is family-owned and operated, customers will always be dealing with management that cares. Circa 1980, after Barry Kornblum graduated college with a business degree, his father, Leonard, who had spent years as a foreman in the plumbing industry, suggested they start a business together selling plumbing supplies. Thirty-six years and three locations later, while keeping up with consumer needs, technology and style, C & L Plumbing Supply Inc. is run by Barry and wife, Joan. Their daughter, Stephanie Kornblum Knight, is marketing director and oversees the showroom.

The showroom features bathroom vignettes (model rooms) and kitchen displays. Products are state-of-the-art, with some of the most luxurious contemporary innovations. You’ll see working showerheads, lighting, whirlpools, and even tubs and medicine cabinets that play music via Bluetooth. Turn your bathroom into a steam room by installing a steam shower. Heat your floor so your tootsies stay toasty even on the coldest days. Beautiful vanities, faucets, shower doors, counter tops, enclosures and architectural hardware abound. C & L offers it all.

C & L Plumbing Supply delivers but does not do installations, however, they have a network of contractors and plumbers whom they could recommend. Customers can bring in their own contractors as well. They also sell entire heating systems – furnaces, boilers, water heaters -- tools, and of course, every supply needed for plumbing.

If you’re thinking of redoing, installing, or enhancing a kitchen or bathroom, management suggests you come to the showroom with measurements, dimensions and a budget in mind. A salesperson will work with you, coming up with options. Each member of the staff is creative and highly experienced and knowledgeable.

The showroom opens at 9 a.m. Monday through Saturday. It closes at 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8 p.m. on Wednesday, and 4 p.m. on Saturday. The plumbing supply house opens at 7:30 a.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. on Saturday.
