A North Bellmore man was arrested and charged with possessing stolen guns and illegal drugs in the trunk of his car, which was parked in front of his home on Littleneck Avenue on Monday afternoon, police said.

After Bureau of Special Operations officers noticed Pulgiano, 25, allegedly placing two rifles in the trunk, they also found a shotgun, a 9mm rifle, a .45-caliber handgun (reported stolen from Florida), several bags of cocaine, two bags of marijuana, a scale and small plastic bags.

Pulgiano was charged with several counts of criminal possession of stolen property and controlled substances. He was to be arraigned on Tuesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
