Veterans’ Day was observed last Wednesday with a reverent ceremony in Elmont. Members of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars chapters came out to pay their respects to the men and women of Elmont and Franklin Square who dedicated themselves to the service of protecting their country in uniform.
