All eyes were smiling brightly on Sunday in Rockville Centre as hundreds of dancers, their parents and members of more than half a dozen pipe and drum bands competed in a traditional Irish feis.

The Nassau County Board of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the Ladies AOH organized and sponsored its 37th annual Irish Feis (pronounced fesh) and Festival to the delight of dancers, pipers, drummers and lovers of all things Irish at Molloy College. The weather blessed all who attended and participated. This year's honoree was Dr. William A. Donohue of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights. And the festival was dedicated to the memory of long-time feis volunteer Alice Caffrey.
