A woman from East Meadow was arrested for driving drunk with her two children in the car early Sunday morning, according to state police.
Drainne Whitelocke, 31, was pulled over on the eastbound side of the Southern State Parkway at about 1 a.m. after police say she was traveling 80 miles per hour in a black Nissan Rogue, and unable to stay within her lane. Her two children, ages 8 and 14, were in the car, police allege.
Whitelocke failed sobriety tests and was arrested for DWI. She was processed in Valley Stream and transported to Nassau County Detention for arraignment.
