A day after the deliveries, on Sunday, Kiwanis and the district’s Key Clubs and Builders Clubs will team up to serve a Thanksgiving lunch to area senior citizens.
Kiwanis conducts two other holiday food basket drives in addition to the Thanksgiving event. One occurs next month, for Christmas and Hanukkah, while the other happens in the spring during Easter and Passover.
