Kids First graduates inaugural Pre-K class

While high school seniors across East Meadow celebrated their graduations last week, it was also a special time for pre-schoolers at Kids First Evaluation & Advocacy Center, Inc. on June 25, who also donned mortarboards and received diplomas in celebration of the next step in their lives.

It was the first-ever graduating preschool class for Kids First, a Salisbury-based agency that has provided early-intervention and preschool special education services in Nassau and Suffolk counties since 1997. It added a private preschool this year for both typically developing children as well as those with special needs.

The graduated class was joined by their excited family members and teachers inside of the preschool, which is located in the rear of the Leon J. Campo Salisbury Center, which also serves as the administrative home for the East Meadow School District.
