An East Meadow woman was arrested after police say she slashed the tires of multiple vehicles and mailed letters containing a white substance that turned out to be sugar.

Judith McGlone, 50, was placed into custody in her Fifth Avenue home on June 3 following a joint investigation by the Nassau County Police and the FBI Joint Terrorist Task Force.

She is charged with two counts of third-degree criminal mischief and one count of second-degree placing a false bomb. She was scheduled to be arraigned on June 4.
