Nassau County Police Department officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying two individuals that they believe are connected to crimes in East Meadow and beyond.

Crime Stoppers released photos of each suspect, which were captured on surveillance cameras. One subject allegedly burglarized an East Meadow office building, while the other is connected to multiple identity theft cases across the county, police said.

At 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2015, an unknown person forcibly entered an office building situated at 1975 Hempstead Turnpike. The subject then allegedly took an iPad, iPad speaker and credit card reader, valued at $1,000.

Police are also searching for a person who, between June 30 and July 7, allegedly opened multiple credit cards in a victim’s name. Officials said the suspect made more than $14,000 in fraudulent charges on the account.

Crime Stoppers officials are asking anyone who can identify either subject or who knows any additional information about these crimes to call their toll free hotline, 1-800-244-TIPS (8477). All calls will remain anonymous.
