Scout earns highest honor

Anthony Teneriello was congratulated by his scoutmaster, Mark Sullivan, and Hempstead Town Clerk Nasrin Ahmad for earning his Eagle Scout award.

Anthony Teneriello, of East Meadow, was congratulated for earning the highest honor in Boy Scouts — the Eagle Scout Award.

He was recognized by his troop for his achievement at Calvary Lutheran Church in East Meadow. Teneriello also received a Town of Hempstead certificate from Town Clerk Nasrin Ahmad, a Salisbury resident.
