Summer has finally arrived. With temperatures sitting comfortably in the high 70s and low 80s last weekend, many families visited the pool at Veterans Memorial Park on the corner of Prospect and East Meadow Avenues to go for a swim.
The Town of Hempstead officially opened the pool last Saturday, and many families took their young children for a day of aqueous fun.
The pool will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. throughout the summer.
