Police: New Covenant Church vandalized

East Meadow’s New Covenant Church suffered serious vandalism, including a shattered front glass door, Nassau County Police said.
According to police reports, the church, located at 757 Bellmore Ave., was found with graffiti on the exterior walls, doors and steps, in addition to the shattered glass door.
“The subject used reddish/brown spray paint to write ‘cursed devil’ and ‘devil witch spells’ in addition to multiple upside down crosses,” the report said. The incident happened between June 11 at 7 p.m. and June 12 at 1 p.m.
