Island Park Theatre Group is back with their production of Smokey Joe's Cafe after Mother Nature put plans for the production on hold last fall. more
The Island Park Theatre Group had been rehearsing a new production of "Smokey Joe's Cafe" at Lincoln Orens Middle School. The show was to open November 9, but Superstorm Sandy had other plans. Undaunted, the cast is looking for a new venue for the show. According to Director and Choreographer Sal Canepa, Island Park has supported IPTG for years and now it's time for the cast and crew to give back. This show will be a fundraiser for various organizations in Island Park that suffered damage. All previously purchased tickets will be honored. If you know of a venue please contact IPTG at (516) 554 6295. The rescheduling of Smokey Joe's Cafe will be announced in this paper. more

East Rockaway and Lynbrook thespians took part in a recent production of "On Broadway -- A Musical Revue" in Island Park recently. The cast of 70 plus included many local actors, including community theater veterans as well as first-timers. Tickets sales broke records for ITPG, according to Director Renee Socci. more
The Island Park Theatre Group, in conjunction with the Island Park Union Free School Recreation Department, presented “On Broadway - A Musical Revue” last weekend. A cast of 70 locals actors, dancers and singers entertained the audience at the Lincoln Orens Middle School in Island Park - and the IPTG broke records with its ticket sales. more
