BurgerFi puts a unique twist on the American hamburger experience. Brought back are the juicy, beefy burgers popular in the 1950s and ’60s, but with a modern flair. Offered is a wide array of gourmet toppings. Add to that homemade fries, and desserts and beverages that will wow the pickiest. Everything is natural, and presented in a high tech, casually urban eco-friendly environment.

Here, you’ll get freshly grilled Angus beef from grass-fed cows, hand-cut fries, Kobe hot dogs, remarkable veggie burgers, and a choice of over 100 beverages. Chairs are made from recycled coke bottles, tables and walls from compressed recycled wood, and there’s a “Big Ass” (that’s the brand name) ceiling fan that conserves electricity.

The touch-screen Freestyle Beverage Machine (really fun to use!) offers endless flavors in soda, waters, lemonades, and power drinks that can be mixed together for unlimited combinations. BurgerFi also serves bottles of Boylan soda, old time root beer floats, shakes, Mexican Coca Cola with natural cane sugar, craft beers, and local wines.

The vision of BurgerFi originated in Florida, where a best seller at a fine restaurant was the Angus “CEO Burger.” While Florida has a handful of locations, and franchises are popping up in other states, New York currently has only two — one in Manhattan, and thanks to Mark Sarro, this one in Oceanside. For the past 15 years, Sarro owned and operated Corner Kitchen in Atlantic Beach, which did extensive catering business. He knows what works, what people enjoy, and was totally impressed by the BurgerFi concept.

You will order at the counter and be called when it’s is ready. Everything is made fresh to order.
