UDATE: Police release photos of 'Blue-eyed Bandit'

The Capital One Bank on Main Street in East Rockaway was robbed on Tuesday afternoon, according to Nassau County Police.

Police are searching for one suspect who they say robbed the Capital One Bank in East Rockaway this afternoon.

According to the Nassau County Police Department, the Capital One Bank, located at 115 Main Street in East Rockaway was robbed at 2:38 p.m. on Tuesday. The suspect is described as a 5-foot-9 white male with an average build, blue eyes and a tattoo under his left eye. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, a black scarf around his face and a pair of black gloves.

No weapon was displayed during the robbery. The suspect fled on foot, traveling East on Rhame Avenue with an undetermined amount of U.S. currency.
