Lynbrook and Floral Park firefighters’ Operation Wounded Warrior were invited by the Lynbrook organization Stitches from the Heart as they presented the firefighters with over 400 sewn blankets they made.

The blankets will be distributed personally by Nassau firefighters the first week of December to injured military personnel in hospitals at Fort Bragg and Camp Lejuene, NC, and Bethesda, MD.
