Arrests
 On June 5 at 9:45 p.m., a 27-year-old Westbury man was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, unreasonable speed and fail to signal on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

At 2:25 p.m. on June 6, a 34-year-old of Richmond Hill, was arrested and charged with forgery, grand larceny and identity theft at 469 Sunrise Hwy., Lynbrook.

A 21-year-old of Rosedale was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, tailgating, fail to signal and unsafe lane change on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook on June 9 at 12:57 p.m.


On June 10 at 8:45 a.m., a 59-year-old Oceanside man was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, circumvention of interlock device and improper U-turn on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.
The defendant had a restriction on his license requiring any vehicle they operate have an ignition interlock device installed, which required that person to give a breath sample before the vehicle would start.

Petit larceny
At 10:23 a.m. on May 26, a complainant reports that their New York State license plate was removed from their vehicle, which was parked in their driveway on Maple Avenue in Lynbrook. The plate was taken between 1 a.m. and 10 a.m. on May 26.

Criminal mischief
At 12:25 a.m. on June 10, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) broke the rear passenger window of their 2011 Honda Pilot, which was parked in their driveway on Webster Street in Lynbrook. The value of the window is $250. The damaged occurred between noon on June 9 and midnight on June 10.

Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle
On June 10 at 2:13 p.m. a complainant, the security manager of Hertz Rent a Car located at 56 Horton Ave., Lynbrook, reported that their 2012 Nissan Sentra, which was rented on April 25, has not been returned.
