Arrests
At 8:12 p.m. on April 16, a 16-year-old of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
On April 19, at 11:30am a 50-year-old of East Rockaway, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation, operate a motor vehicle while using a hand held cell phone, unregistered motor vehicle, improper registration plates and uninsured motor vehicle on Ocean Avenue in Lynbrook. On April 21 at 9:15 p.m., a 26-year-old of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, unsafe backing, improper registration plate and uninsured motor vehicle on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
At 9:15 a.m. on April 16, a complainant, the manager of Legacy Infiniti located at 855 Sunrise Hwy., Lynbrook, reported that an unknown person(s) entered their property and removed four tires and rims from a 2009 Infiniti G-37. The value of the tires and rims is $1,800. The tires and rims were taken between 9:30 p.m. on April 15 and 9 a.m. on April 16.
On April 17at 1:15 p.m., a complainant, the manager of Sunrise Volkswagen located at 931 Sunrise Hwy., Lynbrook reports that an unknown person(s) entered their property and removed seven catalytic converters from seven different 2013 Volkswagen vehicles. The value of the catalytic converters is $17,500. The catalytic converters were taken between 8 p.m. on April 15 and 9 a.m. on April 17.
At 11:48 a.m. on April 27, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) removed assorted tools and property from their storage room, located at Omega Self Storage 630 Merrick Road, Lynbrook. The value of the items taken is $10,160. The items were removed between March 30 and April 27.
On April 29 at 9:15 a.m., a complainant, the manager of Legacy Infiniti located at 855 Sunrise Hwy., Lynbrook, reported that an unknown person(s) entered their property and remove four tire and rims from a 2013 Infiniti G-37. The value of the tires and rims is $5,400. The tires and rims were taken between 9 p.m. and 11:08 p.m. on April 28.
Burglary
At 11:10 p.m. on April 18, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) entered their residence, located at 60 Fowler Ave. in Lynbrook and did remove a 36-inch Audiovox television and remote control from their living room. The property was taken between midnight on April 17 and 10 a.m. on April 18. The value of the property is $205.
