Crime Watch: East Rockaway, Lynbrook

Arrests
On Feb. 17 at 8 p.m., a 17-year-old of Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property at 321 Merrick Road in Lynbrook.

At 4 p.m. on Feb. 18, a 35-year-old man of Jamaica, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to signal on Merrick Road in Lynbrook.

A 49-year-old man of Lynbrook, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation on Buckingham Place in Lynbrook on Feb. 18 at 4:25 p.m.

On Feb. 19 at 10:42 a.m., a 51-year-old man of East Patchogue, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation and equipment violation on Horton

Avenue in Lynbrook.

At 3:05 p.m. on Feb. 19, a 35-year-old of Far Rockaway, was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation, circumvention of interlock device and equipment violation on Peninsula Boulevard in Lynbrook.

A 52-year-old of East Rockaway, was arrested and charged with shoplifting from Pathmark at 492 Atlantic Ave., East Rockaway, on Feb. 19 at 5:33 p.m.

On Feb. 20 at 12:45 p.m., a 27-year-old of Oceanside, was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation, speeding, circumvention of interlock device, unlicensed operation and failure to signal on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook. The defendant was found to have an open warrant from Nassau County First District Court for aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation, uninsured motor vehicle, circumvention of interlock device and equipment violation.

At 10:26 p.m. on Feb. 21, a 22-year-old man of Brooklyn, was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operation and equipment violation on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.

Identity theft
At 3 p.m. on Feb. 20, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) made seven unauthorized charges on their HSBC MasterCard credit card. The total amount of charges is $33,863.33.

Petit larceny
On Feb. 21 at 12:15 p.m., a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) removed their New York State registration plates from their 2007 Nissan, which was parked in their driveway on Buckingham Place in Lynbrook.

Lost property
At 10:07 a.m. on Feb. 22, a complainant reported that while shoveling snow at their residence on Vine Street in Lynbrook they lost their Verizon LG cell phone. The total amount of the loss is $300.
