At 11a.m. on Feb. 19, a complainant reported that an unknown person(s) took their Chase credit card and Bank of America credit card. The unknown person(s) then charge $5.42 at White Castle located at 490 Sunrise Hwy., Lynbrook, with the complainant’s Chase credit card.

Leaving the scene of an accident

On Feb. 20 at 8:18 p.m., a complainant reported that their car, which was parked in front of 425 Sunrise Hwy., Lynbrook, was struck by another vehicle.

The operator of the vehicle failed to stop and make know their identity. The Lynbrook Detective Division is currently investigating.

Forgery

At 5:50 p.m. on Feb. 21, a complainant reported that a check, which was issued in their name, was endorsed and cashed by a person known to the complainant. The check was written for $215.

Grand larceny

On Feb. 24 at 1:30 a.m., a complainant reported an unknown person(s) removed a ladies white gold engagement ring, four gold crucifixes, a yellow gold men’s high school ring, a yellow gold pendant and $200 from their residence on New Street in Lynbrook. The value of the jewelry is unknown at the time of the report.
