Arrests

A 25-year-old male of Valley Stream was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated (drugs), possession of a controlled substance (MDMA), unlawful possession of marijuana, two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation and six other V.T.L. violations on Merrick Road at 4:16 p.m. on Sept. 27.

At 8:31 p.m. on Sept. 27, a 19-year-old male of Lynbrook was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, at the Lynbrook Long Island Rail Road station.

On Sept. 29, a 68-year old male of Woodmere was arrested and charged with criminal mischief, stemming from a traffic dispute that occurred on Sept. 26 on Peninsula Boulevard.

A 32-year-old male of Oceanside was arrested after an investigation involving Lynbrook detectives and the Nassau County Police Narcotics Bureau on Sept. 29 at 7:34 p.m. Charges included three counts of possession of a controlled substance (heroin) and sale of a controlled substance (heroin). A 27-year-old female of East Rockaway was also arrested and charged with criminal facilitation and possession of marijuana.

At 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 1, Aa 30-year-old of Lynbrook was arrested and charged with criminal trespass, resisting arrest and menacing on Union Avenue.

On Oct. 3 at 10:13 a.m., a 15-year-old male of West Hempstead was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation and five other V.T.L. violations on Sunrise Highway.

Identity theft

Someone opened a Dish satellite TV account and attempted to open a Chase credit card account using a victim’s identity and personal information without their permission at 6 p.m. on Sept. 28. Fraudulent charges totaled $484.

On Oct. 2 at 2 p.m., someone charged several items from P.C. Richards and Michael Kors on a victim’s Chase Sapphire credit card account without their permission. Fraudulent charges totaled $1,358.14.
