Crime watch: Lynbrook, East Rockaway

Arrests

A 29 year old female from West Babylon, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated DWI, a lane violation and driving on the sidewalk on Merrick Road on Feb. 6 at 10:45 p.m.

On Feb. 11 at 4 a.m., a 22 year old male from Freeport was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding, possession of multiple licenses and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle on Sunrise Highway.

At 3:08 a.m. on Feb. 12, a 24 year old from Carle Place was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving under the Influence of alcohol, and a lane violation on Sunrise Highway.

A 53 year old from Valley Stream was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, driving under the influence of alcohol, and a lane violation on Sunrise Highway.

A 50 year old male from Oceanside, was arrested on Jan. 30 at 8:47 p.m. for consuming an alcoholic beverage in public and received an Open Nassau County warrant on the Lynbrook Long Island Rail Road platform.

On Jan. 30 at 8:48 p.m., a 43 year old from Little Neck was arrested on Peninsula Boulevard and charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, unregistered motor vehicle, no insurance, improper plates and no inspection.

On Feb. 1 at 11:10 p.m., a 20 year old male from Valley Stream, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance on Sunrise Highway.

An 18 year old from Valley Stream, was arrested on Sunrise Highway on Feb. 1 at 11:10 p.m., and charged with possession of a weapon, false personation and an open warrant.

A male minor from Valley Stream was arrested on Feb. 1 at 11:10 p.m. and charged with tampering with evidence, two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana, unlicensed operator and failure to signal a lane change on Sunrise Highway.

On Feb. 2 at 11:23p.m., a 51 year old from Hewlett was arrested on Merrick Road and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and speeding.

A 22 year old male from Woodmere was arrested on Feb.4 at 3:50 a.m., and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operator, speeding and for a lane violation on Peninsula Boulevard.

A 36 year old male from West Babylon, was arrested on Feb.7 at 9:20 p.m., and charged with assault stemming from an incident that occurred on Wright Avenue.

Thefts

The account information for a TD Bank debit card was stolen and used to withdraw funds from an account on Feb. 17 at 5:50 p.m. Total loss was $700.

More than $965 was withdrawn from a Town of Hempstead Credit Union checking account without the permission of the account owner on Feb. 13 at 11:20 a.m.

On Feb. 8 at 8:20 a.m., the owner of a 2015 Hyundai Sedan said his car was broken into in his driveway on Driving Park Avenue, and $500 and a Capital One savings booklet were stolen. The victim also reported that $10,000 was stolen from his house.
