ER Fire Department to host fire prevention Expo

The East Rockaway Fire Department is hosting its annual Fire Prevention Day on Friday, Oct. 5 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Grant Avenue Firehouse, right off of Atlantic Avenue in East Rockaway. Demonstrations, fire safety education, prizes and more. Fun and educational for the whole family!

I brought my kids to this. It is really great that the village does this for the kids. Nothing like free firetruck rides, fire awareness, handouts, free food and an opportunity to venture inside our local firehouse. ER Fire Department is really great to our community. They do a lot of nice things for the kids.
