The Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union celebrated its grand opening in a new location in East Meadow on May 19 with a ribbon cutting hosted by the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce.

The new site, sitting west of Wantagh Parkway in the East Meadow Commons Shopping Center, features four Interactive Teller Machines, a coin machine, video displays, a free coffee bar and a Wi-Fi station, among many other amenities.

“They’re a big company, but they’re community oriented,” said Frank Camarano, the president of the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce, adding that he admires the company’s decision to relocate to an area that is easier for customers to access.

The ribbon cutting began with a family-friendly festival with music, raffles and a meet-and-greet with former New York Giants punter Sean Landeta.

Through June 16, the NFFCU is offering grand opening specials such as anniversary certificate rates, personal loan rates, free credit monitoring and a $100 bonus for referring a new member who opens Savings, Checking, and Direct Deposit of $250 or more – among others.
