Brian Culbertson
The smooth jazz superstar never misses a beat. The exuberant multi-instrumentalist and his crack band bring an energy and passion to their performances that continue to excite audiences, and are ready to do just that when they visit the Madison Theatre. With 16 albums and counting, Culbertson always gives his very best — and brings the very best out of others — in all of his broad-ranging musical endeavors. Besides touring the world and topping the charts, Culbertson continues to perform with music all-stars like Maurice White of Earth, Wind & Fire, Larry Graham, Michael McDonald, Chris Botti, Barry Manilow, Herb Alpert, and Natalie Cole, among many others.

Three Women and the Truth
Three women, three guitars and the words, music, and hard-won wisdom from three lifetimes spent in pursuit of song. That’s the mantra of Three Women and the Truth — the dynamic trio of longtime friends Mary Gauthier, Lori McKenna and Gretchen Peters. These accomplished, award-winning songwriters cut through the murky layers of life’s complexities and bring clarity to many of the challenges we all long to make sense of. All three women have deeply felt, wry and individual voices. They sing from the heart, bringing distinction and camaraderie to the stage when they join forces for an evening of music and stories. Writing from their life’s experience, these songwriters are skilled in balancing personal tales with classic underpinnings, which hint at the evocative idea that all our lives are full of events and incidents that touch on the mythic and the timeless.
