Three women were attacked when several armed men broke into the Leighton Road home they were sleeping in early on Sunday, according to Nassau police.

The victims, who were ages 17, 35 and 45, were awakened at 3:11 a.m. by four to five males who displayed handguns and a taser and demanded cash, police said. The 35-year-old and 45-year-old victims were struck in their heads with a handgun, and the 17-year-old was struck on the arm with the taser. The men put the women in a bathroom and ransacked the house, and fled in an unknown direction with unknown proceeds, police said.

The 35-year-old victim was treated for her injuries at a local hospital and released. The other victims refused medical attention.

Police provided descriptions of four suspects, all of whom were described as black and in their mid-20’s. The first was six feet tall with a thin build and light skin, wearing a white baseball cap and a red long-sleeved plaid shirt. He reportedly had a Jamaican accent and was armed with the taser. The second suspect was 5-foot-8, had a goatee and a Mohawk, and was wearing a white or light gray baseball cap and Jordan sneakers with blue and black trim. He was armed with a silver revolver. The third suspect was 5-foot-5 with a stocky build, had dark skin and “wide brown eyes,” and was wearing shiny earrings and a silver watch, police said. He displayed a black handgun. The fourth suspect was 5-foot-6, had a thin build and light skin, and was wearing dark clothes with a hood. He also had a handgun.
