Missing Elmont teen found

Nassau Police have found a teen boy who was missing since Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Elmont.

According to detectives, Joshua Mayes, 15, disappeared from his Hendrickson Avenue home on Tuesday wearing a black hooded shirt, black pants and white and blue Jordan sneakers. He is 5' 7" tall, 135 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Detectives remind residents to always call the Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911 with information. All callers remain anonymous.
