‘From Broadway to Hollywood’ with the South Shore Symphony Orchestra at the Madison Theatre

The South Shore Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Music Director Scott Jackson Wiley, welcomes fall with a program featuring the best of theater and film tunes, at the Madison Theatre, on Friday, Oct. 19, at 8 pm.

The 65-member orchestra will perform some of Hollywood and Broadway’s most beloved hits, including the E.T. soundtrack suite by John Williams, a Richard Rodgers medley from the “Sound of Music,” Meredith Wilson’s “Seventy Six Trombones,” Erich Wolfgang Korngold’s “Adventures of Robin Hood” and the music of George Gershwin.
