H. Frank Carey seniors packed into the David S. Mack Center at Hofstra University on Sunday afternoon to bid farewell to their high school career and begin the next phase of their education. Carey valedictorian Serena Viti along with salutatorian Samantha Raggio imparted their views on high school with those in attendance and thanked the faculty and administrators for their guidance and wisdom.
With much of their educational careers still to come, both girls say they realize the importance that their friendship will have on their future. A peer who motivates and pushes you to achieve success is someone who should be cherished, Viti said. She believes that she will continue to lean on Raggio throughout their college years and, she hopes, beyond.
