Long Island Railroad service suspended

Service is suspended on the Long Beach, Far Rockaway, West Hempstead and Babylon branches.

Acccording to the Long Island Railroad, a disabled train at Valley Stream caused the interruption.

Service between Babylon and Jamaica from the Montauk branch is moving along by way of the mainline. The LIRR has advised customers to use Ronkonkoma, Port Jefferson, Oyster Bay and Hempstead Branches for westbound service.
