Man robs Franklin Square gas station

Nassau Police detectives are investigating a robbery that happened in Franklin Square yesterday at 9:43 P.M.

According to detectives, a man armed with a knife entered the Exxon gas station located at 1111 Hempstead Turnpike, approached the clerk and demanded money. The clerk opened the cash register and the subject removed an undisclosed amount of cash. He man fled on foot southbound on Scherer Blvd.

No injuries were reported. He is described as a male white or Hispanic in his 20's. He was wearing all black with a black ski mask.
