Nassau County Police have released surveillance photos of the suspects they say assaulted a Freeman Avenue resident last month.

According to police, the men walked alongside the victim’s home on June 7, just after 4 p.m. The victim, who was inside, saw the suspects walk into his backyard, and went outside to find out why they were there. The suspects “attacked the victim, and assaulted him with a broom handle” while “acting in concert,” police said. The suspects then fled the scene on foot eastbound on Freeman Avenue. The victim suffered an injury to his shoulder as a result of the incident.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous, and there is up to a $5,000 reward being offered.
