Vehicle lands in Jamaica Bay

The driver of a Nissan Murano crossover apparently lost control of the vehicle near the Applebee’s restaurant at 253-01 Rockaway Turnpike in Woodmere and crashed through the guardrail and landed in Jamaica Bay on Sunday at 12:30 a.m., according to officials on the scene. more
