The Hewlett Community Garden that is behind Hewlett House on East Rockaway Avenue in Hewlett grows a variety of vegetables and Long Island native tree in eight raised beds that are 30-feet long. Six of the beds are 4-feet wide and two are 6-feet wide. There is also a composting shed. more
