Consider residents when holding meetings
To the Editor:
I read the Sept. 23-29 article “Proposed Inwood project seeks 25-year PILOT,” about the proposed Inwood project. I am opposed to a project of this magnitude. It’s just too big. However, what bothered me more is that your article states that “only one resident attended the hearing.”

Regarding last week’s article “Village trustee’s Facebook post creates a stir” the statement by Ari Brown, “My body, my choice” is not a valid argument! By that criterion, one can drink and drive, not wear seatbelts or walk down Central Avenue naked.

To the Editor:
I find it way more disturbing that a member of our community went to the Capitol (“Five Towns synagogues decry photo choice” Jan. 14-20) to make common cause with neo-Nazis, who believe the killing of six million Jews wasn’t enough, than the fact that a local newspaper published a photo of that person gleefully celebrating the participation.

The numbers favor Biden
To the Editor:
If one were to only read the local newspapers in the Five Towns — including, I daresay, the Herald, which recently published an ad for the Trump “Freedom Rally” masquerading as a news piece (“Five Towns ‘Freedom Rally’ Sunday, Oct. 22”) — one would believe that the Jewish community, writ large, monolithically supports our current president.
