The Peninsula Kiwanis hosted their annual Christmas Dream Pancake Breakfast at our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Inwood last Sunday. Money was raised through the admission price of $5 and raffles to purchase more than 700 Christmas gifts for boys and girls in need.
Christmas Dream is a year-round program that provides assistance to the Lawrence School District, Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Inwood and the Five Towns Community Center, among others. The group has raised funds for the gifts for more than 20 years.
Improving the quality of life for their neighbors through community service and fellowship is the Kiwanis mission.
