Entertaining to pump up the fund
Hewlett-Woodmere Public Schools Endowment Fund holds comedy night fundraiser
Donovan Berthoud/Herald
Tyler Gildin, of Woodmere, brought his comedic talents to the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Schools Endowment Fund comedy night.

Approximately 220 people paid $65 per ticket for the Hewlett-Woodmere Public Schools Endowment Fund comedy night fundraiser at the Bridgeview Yacht Club in Island Park on Feb. 22.

Comedians Tyler Gildin of Woodmere, Robyn Schall, a Hewlett native and Long Islander Sherry Davey performed during the four-hour event that included dinner, music and dancing.

The Endowment Fund is an organization comprised of graduates, families and area merchants that raises money to school district programs such as Project Bulldog, which supports the district’s arts program, and the Virtual Enterprise Program, where students create a virtual business and compete against other schools in organized competitions.
